Mumbai Sawantwadi Express Opens Direct Access to South Konkan
The launch of the new Mumbai-Sawantwadi Express has created a major rail connection between Maharashtra’s capital city and the scenic South Konkan region. Starting from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), the daily train service is expected to improve travel access for passengers heading towards important destinations including Kankavli, Kudal and Sawantwadi. The new railway link is also set to support tourism growth in popular coastal and nature destinations such as Tarkarli, Amboli and areas near the Maharashtra-Goa border.Source : Travel and Tour World
