No official communication on testing measures with regard to Indian travellers to Thailand, clarifies TAT

Making it clear that the tourism offices are closely monitoring any changes or update measures on Covid-19 protocol which might affect Indian travellers to Thailand, TAT pointed out that the last measure of official announcement is based on “Guidelines for International Arrivals” issued by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on December 22, 2022. According to this announcement, 2 per cent of the total passengers in flight shall undergo random post arrival testing at the airport on arrival.
Since October 1, 2022, international travellers to Thailand are no longer required to show any proof of vaccination or ATK test result.
Tourism in Thailand is back to normal and there are no restrictions of travel across the country. All businesses and tourism related products and services are opened and are geared up for the New Year celebrations with suitable measures. In fact, TAT is hosting “Amazing Thailand Countdown 2023” New
Year celebrations in Bangkok and Songkhla and providing support for other events throughout the kingdom to conclude 2022 with 1.5 trillion in total tourism revenue as targeted.
The “Amazing Thailand Countdown 2023” as well as locally-organised New Year celebrations would take place throughout Thailand, in many different locations in the Central, Northern, Northeastern, Eastern, and Southern regions as well as in the bustling capital city of Bangkok.
